Schwarzach is a suburb of Bregenz at the western tip of Austria. I travelled there on the train from Salzburg. Christoph Glatter-Götz kindly drove me to the factory.Late September was cool and overcast for the whole three weeks we were travelling in England and the Continent.As we arrived at the factory I saw that it was a large, modern, steel industrial building in a beautiful setting.The Rieger logo is prominently displayed on the taller part of the building, the erection gallery.
